In the United Kingdom, high blood pressure (hypertension) affects about half of the population over 65, and about 1 in 4 middle aged adults.

It is the most important risk leading to heart attacks and stroke. High blood pressure really is a silent killer. Do not wait until someone you know has a heart attack or stroke as the silent time-bomb ticks away....Please help us now to help you.

Mission statement

To improve the basic understanding, assessment, treatment and public awareness of high blood pressure, and, in so doing, help promote the welfare of people with high blood pressure.

Our work is entirely funded by donations

The Foundation tries to keep administrative costs to a minimum, which means that your donation is put to very good use for our important research and educational programmes. May we count on you for support?
